Zirconium Tubing is a kind of metal with strong corrosion resistance, which is suitable for chemical corrosion resistant equipment. Its acid resistance is better than that of titanium and other steels, especially in 300-400℃ high-temperature and high-pressure steam and water. It has moderate mechanical properties and low atomic thermal neutron absorption cross-section. In addition, zirconium can withstand a variety of acids, alkalis, and salts. It has a strong affinity with oxygen. Nitrogen and other gases have been used in water-cooled nuclear reactors and corrosion, similar to tantalum. Zirconium is also quite stable in alkaline solutions.
