Cementitious Capillary Crystalline Waterproofing Coating is a gray powdery material formulated with ordinary Portland cement as the base material and active chemical components added. Its waterproof mechanism mainly relies on porosity. Under the action of water, the active chemical substances contained in the waterproof coating take water as the carrier. As water penetrates the pores of the structure, the active chemical substances penetrate inward with the water and react to form insoluble crystals such as ettringite. Meanwhile, these active chemical substances undergo hydration reaction with unhydrated cement particles.

For all concrete to be coated with this product, carefully check for structural defects such as formwork tie rod holes, cracks, honeycombed or pitted inferior surfaces, pits, and uneven joints at construction seams. All defects should be chiseled, cleaned, sealed, repaired, and leveled before large-area construction.
