0.6/1kV AAC/XLPE+AAC/XLPE+AAAC 2X1/0+1/0AWG Triplex Aluminum Conductor Overhead Service Drop Cable Wire

Application

0.6/1kV 2X1/0+1/0AWG triplex aluminum overhead cable consists of two insulated phase conductors and one bare alloy neutral messenger conductor. It is designed for low-voltage overhead power distribution, transmitting power from utility overhead lines to residential and small commercial buildings via weather heads.
The cable is rated for 0.6/1kV phase-to-phase voltage. XLPE insulated conductors allow a maximum continuous operating temperature of 90°C, with excellent resistance to outdoor UV radiation, rain, extreme temperature and aging. The bare AAAC neutral wire serves two functions: carrying neutral return current and bearing the tensile load of the whole cable. Two phase conductors are individually covered with black cross-linked polyethylene insulation for reliable outdoor weather protection.

CONSTRUCTION

Phase Conductor

1350-H19 series all aluminum conductor (AAC), standard or compact stranded, size 1/0 AWG

Neutral Messenger Conductor

Bare all aluminum alloy conductor (AAAC) without insulation, acts as neutral path and load-bearing messenger wire

Insulation

Black cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation extruded separately on each phase conductor, anti-ultraviolet and anti-corrosion
