Zhenglan Cable Technology Co., Ltd. manufactures 10 kV SAC (Spaced Aerial Cable) for medium-voltage overhead distribution.The 1×95 mm² single-core configuration is made up of semi conductive conductor screen and one XLPE-insulated aluminium conductor (concentric strand, Class 2). The insulated design sharply reduces outages from tree contact, wildlife and weather, while the aerial format eliminates trenching. Each reel is tested for AC withstand and partial discharge before dispatch.

Applications

SAC is deployed for MV distribution in France-influenced and Francophone networks, plus South American and Middle Eastern utilities upgrading overhead MV lines. It suits rural backbone feeders, plantation and mining supply, and grid extensions where underground civil works are costly. As a single-core system, phases are strung and spaced individually, which speeds stringing on existing corridors and simplifies mid-span tapping.
