The 65Mn high carbon spring steel coil is a manganese alloyed carbon steel containing 0.62 to 0.70 percent carbon, formulated for components that require high hardness, wear resistance and elastic strength after heat treatment. Typical applications include leaf springs, coil springs, saw blades, cutting tools, scrapers, clutch plates and mechanical springs where the material must return to its original shape under repeated loading. Zhengde supplies 65Mn coils in the annealed, spheroidized or hardened and tempered condition, allowing customers to select the starting hardness that matches their manufacturing process. The strip is produced with strict control of decarburization and surface defects, because surface quality directly determines the fatigue life of finished springs and blades. Uniform hardness across the width and length of each coil ensures consistent response to heat treatment, reducing distortion and reject rates in high-volume production. Thicknesses from 0.5mm to 8mm and widths from 600mm to 1500mm are available, with slit edges precision finished for immediate blanking and forming operations.
