Feature of galvanized lattice steel towers:

Communication tower is a kind of signal transmission tower, also called signal transmission tower or signal tower, main function support signal, support for signal transmission antenna, used for mobile, Unicom, telecommunication, traffic satellite positioning system (GPS) and other communications departments.

Angular steel tower is made from individually bolted angle steel pieces, these Lattice towers and masts are ideally suited to larger towers. Angle steel is most commonly used for the construction of Electricity Transmission Towers.

Steel Grade & Steel Elements:

  1. All structural angle sections, plates and other sections shall comply with relevant British Standards.
  2. Sections used in the fabrication of members shall be cut from single piece of material (no welded pieces).
  3. Grades of the steel to comply with BS EN 10025 Grade 275 JR/355 JR or equivalent ASTM
  4. Materials used in production of steel work shall be provided free from blisters, mill scale, laminations and other defects.
  5. The minimum yield and tensile strength of steel to be used for manufacture of steel work will be in accordance with the design calculations.
  6. Tower legs to be high grade steel and manufacturer shall identify clearly the grades of the steel in writing to the Employer.
  7. The necessary holes needed for the ground connection on the tower legs close to the base plates must be designed & drilled prior to galvanizing.
  8. Member usage allowed is maximum 85% in comp & Tension
  9. Climatic conditions should be considered while designing the Self-supporting Telecommunication Towers .
