About Double Bubble Insulation

Double-layer bubble insulation material is a highly efficient composite thermal insulation material. It uses the dual principles of air layer insulation and reflective insulation, and is widely used in construction, industry, agriculture and other fields to reduce heat transfer and improve energy efficiency.

Core Structure and Composition

This material consists of three basic structures to form a "sandwich" composite layer:

  • Outer layer (two sides): High reflective aluminum foil layer made of polyethylene or polyester film coated with high-purity aluminum foil. Reflects most of the radiant heat (95%-97%) and provides waterproof, moisture-proof, corrosion-resistant properties.
  • Middle layer: Double-layer polyethylene bubble film containing closed independent air bubbles that effectively block heat conduction. Some products use XPE cross-linked polyethylene foam or glass fiber cotton to enhance thermal insulation or fire resistance.
