Color Coated Aluminum Overview
Aluminium gutter, also known as painted aluminum roll, is produced by applying colored surface coatings to aluminum plates or coils. Available in PVDF (fluorine-carbon) and PE (polyester) coating types.
Applications
Widely used in roofing and cladding systems, ceiling systems, curtain wall panels, shutters, gutters, composite panels, honeycomb panels, advertising signs, home appliances, and embossed aluminum coils.
PVDF Coating Features
PVDF coating consists of vinylidene fluoride homopolymer or copolymer with other fluorine-containing vinyl monomers. This chemical structure provides exceptional stability, resulting in superior wear resistance, impact resistance, fade resistance, and UV protection.
PE (Polyester) Coating Features
High molecular polymer coating with alkyd additives, offering excellent UV resistance. Available in matte and glossy finishes. The compact molecular structure ensures smooth, lustrous surfaces ideal for printing applications. Backed by 8-10 year weather resistance warranty, perfect for interior decoration and signage.
Aluminum Series Characteristics
  • 1 Series: Contains over 99.00% aluminum. Excellent electrical conductivity, corrosion resistance, and welding performance. Lower strength suitable for conventional industrial applications.
  • 3 Series: Manganese-based (1.0-1.5% content). Superior rust prevention, excellent corrosion resistance, weldability, and plasticity.
  • 5 Series: Magnesium-based alloy. Features low density, high tensile strength, excellent elongation, and good fatigue strength. Cannot be heat-treated. Widely used in conventional industries.
  • 6 Series: Magnesium and silicon composition. Ideal for applications requiring corrosion resistance and oxidation protection.
