780~1550nm FC Expanded Beam Connector
The FC expanded beam connector launched by Yogel uses an advanced micro-lens collimation process. Through the unique beam expansion technology, the light beam emitted by the optical fiber can achieve the perfect coincidence of the direction and position of the collimated light beam with the physical axis of the ceramic. This allows the connector to achieve plug-in interconnection through the pre-assembled FC closed sleeve, greatly improving the convenience of use.
At the same time, due to the use of collimation technology, we can coat the end face of the optical fiber or apply the End-cap process, thereby significantly improving the power tolerance of the optical fiber end face. The maximum power tolerance of its single-mode connector can reach 5W, solving the problem that traditional single-mode connectors cannot handle high-power applications.
Feature:
Non-contact, no end-face wear, long service life
Large spot interconnection, strong anti-fouling ability, no need for special cleaning
High power tolerance, the fiber end face can be end-capped and coated
