Products Descriptions
Material: High-Carbon Spring Steel is non-negotiable for high resistance. It must have excellent yield
strength and fatigue resistance to return to its original shape after millions of compressions.
Tensile Strength: Ask your supplier for the tensile strength rating. For a high-quality spring, look for over
2000 MPa (Megapascals). This is a key indicator of the wire's inherent strength.
Rust Protection: Critical for longevity, especially in humid climates.
Best: Epoxy-Polyester Powder Coating. This provides a thick, durable, and flexible barrier that won't crack
when the spring is flexed. It is superior to basic electroplating.
Good: Electro-Galvanization (E-Galv). A thinner zinc coating that provides decent protection but is not
as robust as powder coating.
Avoid: Simple oil coatings or black oxide finishes for a "high-resistant" application.
