Product Description:
OPGW is primarily used for power communications and its accessories, relay protection, automatic transmission, and high-voltage line installation.
It consists of a central stainless steel tube wrapped with a single or double layer of aluminum-clad steel (ACS) wire, or a combination of ACS steel and aluminum alloy wire. OPGW is the most widely used optical cable, designed to meet the most common power line requirements.
Main features:
1. Designed, tested, and manufactured to high-quality standards, using Grade A materials to ensure long-term reliability.
2. Easy maintenance and convenient line crossings, its mechanical properties meet the requirements of large line spans. OPGW uses metal armor, which is impervious to corrosion and degradation caused by high voltage.
3. OPGW construction requires power outages, resulting in significant losses. Therefore, OPGW is essential for high-voltage line construction above 110kV.
4. OPGW optical cables are primarily used for 500kV, 220kV, and 110kV to 35kV lines. Due to power outages and safety concerns, they are often used in new lines.
5. The sealed stainless steel tube provides excellent protection for the optical fiber against moisture and extreme environments.
