Introduction

Utilizing the acoustic and magnetic synchronization method, the cable fault location instrument is a powerful tool for accurately identifying power cable fault points. The electronic flashover, generated by the impact discharge generator, is captured and amplified by a specialized probe. The exact location of the fault is pinpointed through auditory and visual cues. This device completes the precise positioning of cable faults within a rough measurement range and collects the time difference between acoustic and magnetic signals. It integrates advanced positioning technology with path-assisted testing, offering multiple test modes and a variety of informative prompts to efficiently and accurately locate cable faults.
