The working principle of an air conditioner fan capacitor is based on the principle of charge storage and release. When a capacitor is charged, it stores an electric charge between the two plates, forming an electric field. When a capacitor is discharged, the charge flows from one plate to the other, forming an electric current. In air conditioners and fans, capacitors are usually connected in series with the motor to form an LC circuit. When the motor starts, the capacitor releases the stored electrical energy to provide the high current required for the motor to start. Once the motor is started, the capacitor continues to provide current to help the motor maintain a steady speed.
