SL225 API 8c Wellhead Rolling Rotary Hose Hook Swivel for Oil Drilling Rig

Design Features

  • Swivels are divided into two types: conventional swivels and dual‑purpose swivels. A dual‑purpose swivel integrates a conventional swivel and a spinner as one unit.
  • The swivel complies with API Spec 8C PS1 product specification issued by the American Petroleum Institute, and has obtained the API product certificate, permitting the use of the API monogram.
  • The washpipe packing assembly adopts a cassette‑style structure. It can be rapidly replaced on the rig without removing the rotary hose and gooseneck.
  • Optional 3LP and 4LP internal‑thread and external‑thread hose connection threads are available.
  • Low‑temperature‑resistant swivels for cold‑region operation can be supplied upon customer request.

A conventional swivel mainly consists of a swivel bail, gooseneck, packing assembly, housing, center pipe, main bearing and connection sub. Its lower sub connects to the kelly via standard threads; the upper swivel bail hangs on the hook. The gooseneck and rotary hose can be connected by standard thread connections or union connections. (Normally, the CH125 swivel is supplied without welded thread sub; other swivel models are welded with 4LP external threads.)
