Product Features
The externally pressurized heptafluoropropane (HFC-227ea) fire suppression system stores the extinguishing agent in liquid form within containers without nitrogen pressurization, maintaining only the agent's saturated vapor pressure as storage pressure. By storing the agent and driving gas in separate containers, this system addresses two critical issues:

  1. No Nitrogen Dissolution: During storage, the agent does not contact nitrogen, eliminating gas dissolution into the agent caused by nitrogen pressurization.

  2. Stable Discharge Pressure: Upon activation, the agent's delivery pressure remains consistently higher than its storage pressure, preventing phase separation (agent vapor and nitrogen release). This effectively mitigates two-phase flow during agent transportation.

Advantages
Extended Delivery Range: Achieves over 200m of piping distance, ideal for large-scale or remote protection areas.
Higher Fill Density: Maximum fill density of 1,250 kg/m³ optimizes container capacity, reducing equipment costs and floor space.
Smaller Pipe Diameters: Lowers piping material costs.
Halon 1301 Retrofit Compatibility: Existing Halon 1301 pipe networks and equipment rooms can be reused by simply replacing the hardware, converting to a clean agent system.
Enhanced Nozzle Performance: Higher nozzle inlet pressure improves agent atomization, shortens discharge time (<10s), and accelerates fire suppression efficiency.
