Hot Rolled Steel Strip
1.Product Overview
Hot rolled steel strip is suitable for narrow-width processing where medium-gauge thickness and stable strip geometry are required for downstream fabrication. Compared with wide hot rolled coil, strip material in the 30–630mm width range is more suitable for slitting, bending, profiling, welded strip blanks, and general fabricated strip components.
This specification covers 1.0–5.0mm thickness with mill edge and slit edge options. It is suitable for strip-based production routes where handling efficiency, secondary conversion, and narrower width control are important.
2.Technical Solution
The product is supplied as hot rolled steel strip under JIS G3131, GB/T 700, SAE, and DIN1623 systems. The available grades include SPHC, Q195, Q235, Q345, SAE1006, SAE1008, and ST12, which can be selected according to downstream forming route and market requirement.
The strip is supplied with 508mm coil ID and around 0.7–5MT coil weight, which is suitable for standard strip handling, recoiling, and secondary processing. Mill edge and slit edge are both available, and the minimum slit width is 30mm for narrow-width routing.
