MTU Motor Type Cable Reel:

Motor-driven cable reel is designed for coiling or releasing the large specification and long distance power supply cable, which can be in synchronous operation with the mobile electrical apparatus to coil or release the cables. In view of its power patterns which is divided into torque motor driven type and three phase asynchronous motor driven type. There are so many motor-driven reel models available which can coil or release the power supply cables under 500V and high voltage cables for 6kv and 10kv.

Application:

gantry crane, tower crane, bridge crane, beam launcher, and the other mobile devices.

Working principle:

MTU has two kinds operation conditions:

1, Power supply is at the end of the mobile device,when the the drum roll the cable,

the motor of the cable drum is charged with electricity,then the drive system will drive

the cable drum to roll the cable.

When release the cable,the mobile device will running,cable drive the cable drum turning reverse side,

then the cable is released,at this time,the motor of cable drum stop working and skid institutions begin to slip.

2, Power supply is at the middle of mobile device,the motor of the cable drum

can drive the the drive system to drive the cable drum to roll the cable.

when the mobile device pass the location of power supply,cable will drive cable drum turning reverse side,

then cable is released,at this time,the motor of cable drum go on working,skid institutions slip faster.
