I. Overview:

The Running tool is a tool for dropping well instruments. The upper end is connected to the basic tool string, and the lower end is connected to the anti-uplifting tool. When dropping the downhole tool, the lower joint of the hand-off tool is connected with the anti-upward movement tool. After the successful release, the upper joint of the hand-off tool and the cylinder body are lifted out; the lower joint and the anti-upward tool are left in the well for operation. After it is finished, the downhole tools can be taken out by fishing the lower joint of the throwing tool.

II., the structural characteristics:

The main parts of The Running tool are the upper joint, the barrel, the spring, the slider, and the lower joint. The upper end of the upper joint is connected with the tool string, and the lower end thread is connected with the barrel. The lower joint can move up and down in the spiral groove at the lower end of the barrel through the action of the cylindrical pin of the spring machine. III. Usage:

1) After connecting the lower joint and the anti-uplifting tool, go down the well;
2) After the pressure gauge is lowered to the required position, the cylinder body is shaken down to disconnect from the lower joint, and when the tool is lifted up, the pull value of the drawworks can be used to determine whether the launch is successful.
