and the new tunneling mode. This mode allows to simplify
the direct link of Near Field Communication (NFC) devices,
sensors or GPS receivers to the micro controller of the host
application, helping to lower the total cost of ownership for
implementers.

The Cinterion MC55i M2M Module may come in a tiny package, but it's packed with impressive features in​cluding Quad-Band GPRS class 10, TCP/IP stack, RIL driver, an extended temperature range and reduced power consumption just to name a few. It's a solid all-round solution suitable for a host of applications such as security, vending, metering, gateways, remote maintenance and control, routers and a great deal more. The Quad-Band technology allows worldwide network compatibility and the RIL driver for Microsoft© Windows Mobile™ 6-based devices comes free of charge and simplifies the development of industrial PDAs and handhelds.
