A Solar Double-Split Step-Up Transformer is a specialized transformer tailored for solar power systems. It uses dual split windings to efficiently raise the low-voltage output from solar panels (or an inverter) to a higher voltage suitable for grid connection or energy storage. The transformer splits the input across two separate windings and steps it up while preserving electrical isolation, thereby enhancing both efficiency and safety.

Large photovoltaic power plants use 500 kW as the basic generation unit, and 500 kW inverters are the market standard. Connecting the inverter to the prefabricated (box-type) substation is a critical step in the PV system, so the design must balance cost control with technical soundness. The double-split transformer therefore offers an ideal voltage-boosting solution.
