Description:

WEEM R1128 wide belts are using the same material of R1128 segmented belt. As we chose the right backing to sustain cross-direction strength for exceptional dimensional stability request. We careful chose YY weight polyester with anti-static treatment for backing. This is a waterproof cloth backing provided both stiffness strength and tensile strength, with treatment for oversized dimensional width stability. Anti-static treatment made on backing to delay or prevent loading problem. It is made for heavy duty stock removal and sanding.

Only premium silicon carbide is selected. Silicon carbide is a very hard and crystal structure produces a fine straight edged grind lines. A closed coat product has a higher number of abrasive cutting points per square inch and results in higher stock removal rate and longer time before the abrasive wears out. Normally results in a better finish.
