Blufloc Polyacrylamide, manufactured by Yixing Bluwat Chemicals Co., Ltd., is a high-quality, water-soluble flocculant widely used in Chile’s copper, lithium, and nitrate mining, urban wastewater treatment, and agricultural water optimization. Available in Anionic (APAM) and Cationic (CPAM) grades, Blufloc is designed for efficient separation of suspended solids, sludge volume reduction, and water recovery under arid, high-salinity, and high-altitude conditions found throughout Chile, from Antofagasta to Rancagua.
Tailings thickening in flotation and leaching plants
Clarification of process water and pit dewatering
Enhances filter press performance and saves water
Common in CODELCO, SQM, and medium-sized operations
Sludge dewatering in municipal WWTPs (Santiago, Valparaíso)
Effective in DAF, clarifiers, and drying beds
Treats food, beverage, and textile effluents in coastal regions
Reduces soil erosion in vineyard slopes and export farms
Improves canal stability and water penetration in arid zones
Safe for fruit crops, livestock, and reforestation areas
High molecular weight (5–25 million) for strong floc formation
Works well in hard water and high-salinity tailings
Low residual monomer (≤ 0.05%), environmentally safe
Compatible with Chilean norms for industrial discharge
Reduces chemical costs and improves operational efficiency
