Description

Oilfield Demulsifier for Drilling Wastewater

Bluwat Demulsifier is a high molecular cationic polymer designed to destabilize tough oilfield emulsions and speed up oil water separation in drilling and produced water treatment. It is water soluble, easy to dose, and performs across a wide pH range.

Product Introduction

The polymer carries strong cationic charge and disrupts interfacial tension in W O and O W systems. It breaks the stability of oil, colloids, and fine solids, forms larger flocs by molecular chain bridging, and accelerates phase separation in API and DAF units.

How to Use

  1. Run jar tests to fix target dose
  2. Adjust wastewater pH to near 9 when feasible
  3. Dose neat or diluted solution into a mixing tank
  4. Rapid mix 1 to 3 minutes then slow mix 10 to 15 minutes
  5. Settle or float and remove separated oil and flocs

For difficult crudes, co dose with PAC and follow with PAM to enhance floc strength.
