Product Description:

The DAF-DS-LA dissolved air flotation system is purpose-engineered for Latin America seawater desalination pre-treatment, serving as the critical first-stage clarification step before reverse osmosis (RO) membranes. In coastal desalination facilities across Chile (Antofagasta, Atacama), Peru (Lima), and Brazil (Fortaleza), raw seawater carries high loads of algae, suspended solids, oil, and organic matter that foul RO membranes. This DAF system uses 316L marine-grade stainless steel construction and pressurized dissolved air micro-bubble technology to efficiently remove algae blooms (including red tide), turbidity, and colloidal particles from seawater intake. With 2-150 m3/h capacity, it protects downstream RO membranes from fouling and extends membrane life in Latin American desalination projects.
