Description

This refers to the wet-on-wet process where the second coat (topcoat) is sprayed immediately after the first coat (primer) without allowing it to fully dry. Both coats are then coated and baked together. The core principle of this process is applying successive layers before the previous coating dries, eliminating the need for waiting periods.

WL-AD390 waterborne hydroxyl acrylic dispersion emulsion is designed for two-component polyurethane systems when crosslinked with isocyanate hardeners or amino resins. It is applicable to coating production processes that require the wet-on-wet process.The related 2K PU coating is useful for aluminium powder paints, various primers, and solid-color topcoats, suitable for hot spray processing. This hydroxyl acrylic dispersion exhibits outstanding film-forming property, excellent intercoat adhesion, and superior metallic flake orientation. In addition, it features rapid viscosity response, exceptional application properties, and optimized performance in hot spray conditions.
