Solid acrylic resin SA-236-1
Product Description

Solid acrylic resin SA-236-1 is similar to PARALOID™B-66, it is a fast-drying copolymer of methyl methacrylate and n-butyl methacrylate. It offers hard heat resistance and durability, helping aerosol coatings form smooth, long-lasting films on metal, plastic, and wood surfaces. It is an excellent general-purpose resin with the same characteristics as the solution grade. In appropriate solvents, SA-236-1 acrylic resin forms clear solutions which air-dry extremely fast to form hard, colorless films which display excellent block resistance and color retention.It also offers fast tack-free time, very good dry and wet adhesion to many plastic substrates like acrylic, ABS, PVC and polystyrene etc. It is very compatible with many solvents and nitrocellulose.
