Flat Pressing Forming

First, pass the cut iron wire segments through a cold pressing machine to flatten the round wire into a flat wire strip of uniform thickness.Then,feed the flat wire into a customized

mold of a ring-forming machine. The machine bends the flat wire into a circular shape, and the two ends of the wire are overlapped slightly to form the preliminary flat ring structure.

Surface Treatment

Iron has poor corrosion resistance, so surface treatment is a critical step:

• • Derusting & Degreasing: Clean the flat key ring with alkaline cleaning agents and derusting solutions to remove oil stains, iron filings and rust spots on the surface.
  • Plating: Common plating processes include nickel plating, zinc plating or chrome plating. The plating layer forms a protective film on the iron surface to prevent rust and
  • improve the ring’s appearance.
  • Optional Coloring: For customized needs, perform electroplating coloring (such as black, gun color) after basic plating to enhance product aesthetics.

Stamping & Customization (Optional)

If the key ring needs a stamped logo (as per the previous product title), place the formed flat ring on a precision stamping machine with customized dies. Use a stamping process

to press logos, text or patterns onto the flat surface of the ring. This step is usually done after plating to ensure the stamped pattern is clear and does not damage the protective layer.
