Zone Controller – Flexible Multi-Channel Audio Routing with Remote Paging

Expand and manage your public address and emergency audio system with this versatile Zone Controller, purpose-built for professional sound reinforcement, broadcast and life-safety applications. It provides reliable, flexible signal routing between amplifiers, zones and control devices, keeping every announcement clear and every channel under control.

The controller offers 12 channels of amplifier inputs and 12 channels of amplifier outputs, enabling extensive multi-zone routing and distribution across large venues, campuses and commercial complexes. A balanced AUX input and a balanced output to the amplifier deliver clean, noise-free signal transmission, preserving audio quality even over long cable runs.

For alarm integration, the unit is equipped with one alarm input and one alarm output, allowing it to interface directly with fire alarm and emergency systems so that critical broadcast messages are triggered automatically and reliably when needed.

Remote paging is fully supported through a paging microphone control function with a maximum range of up to 1 km, letting operators manage announcements across dispersed areas from a single point. Two RJ45 interfaces are provided for microphone connection, enabling convenient, standardised cabling and straightforward installation.

The Zone Controller also supports a 24V DC backup power function, ensuring continued operation during mains power failure so that paging and emergency broadcasts remain available when they are needed most. Combined with its robust, rack-friendly design, this unit is an ideal core component for shopping malls, airports, schools, factories and other multi-zone audio environments.
