Product Overview


The Transfer Case Assembly LR082663 is a genuine OE-grade drivetrain component engineered for select for Land Rover vehicles. Also known as a transfer box, this gearbox sits between the transmission and the axles of a four-wheel-drive vehicle. It is responsible for transferring power from the transmission to the front and rear axles, and for splitting the power between the two axles in different ratios.

The transfer case allows the driver to select between two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive, and between high and low range. In high range, it splits power evenly between the front and rear axles. In low range, it multiplies engine torque, making it easier to drive over difficult terrain or tow heavy loads. LR117096 and LR105963 are interchangeable part numbers for the same assembly.
