Drop Hammer Impact Testing Machine with Automatic Drop Hammer Mechanism
This advanced testing machine features an automatic drop hammer mechanism designed to streamline impact testing processes for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.
Equipment Overview
The Drop Hammer Impact Testing Machine incorporates a dual-tube structural design, consisting primarily of a worktable, anti-secondary impact mechanism, hammer assembly, lifting mechanism, automatic hammer release mechanism, motor, reducer, electric control cabinet, and main frame.
It is extensively employed to determine the impact resistance of various plastic pipes, and is also applicable for impact performance testing of plastic sheets and profiles.
This series of testing instruments is widely adopted by scientific research institutions, universities, quality inspection authorities, and manufacturing enterprises to carry out drop hammer impact tests.
Key Features
- Equipped with dual operational modes (manual and automatic) for effortless and intuitive operation
- Controlled by a dedicated microcontroller with automatic hammer gripping, lifting, height calibration and real-time height display
- Integrated with automatic zero-line adjustment functionality for test specimens
- Fitted with an anti-secondary impact device to enhance accuracy and credibility of test results
- Automatic protection and prompt functions for maximum safety and reliability
- Electric adjustment of lower working space improves specimen positioning precision and reduces operator fatigue
Structure and Working Principle
This testing machine is mainly composed of workbench, anti-secondary impact mechanism, support tube, guide tube, hammer body, V-shaped anvil, automatic hammer release mechanism, reducer, electric control cabinet and main frame.
Working principle: The machine is equipped with a hammer clamp inside the guide tube. Driven by the motor and reducer, the clamp lifts the hammer body to the preset height automatically, then triggers the hammer release switch, allowing the hammer to fall freely along the guide tube and strike the specimen to complete the test. The impact energy can be calculated based on the mass of the hammer and the impact height.
If the hammer rebounds after the specimen is broken, the photoelectric signal will control the anti-secondary impact mechanism to quickly clamp the rebounding hammer, preventing secondary impact.
A V-shaped anvil assembly is installed under the workbench, with lead screws arranged on both sides. The lifting of the V-shaped anvil is driven by rotating the handwheel.
