Moisture Barrier Customized Width Polyester Insulation Liner
PET Metallized Film Ideal For 20-40 Feet Shipping Containers
Product Overview
Customized width soft moisture-proof composited VMPET metallized PET PE laminate film with heat-sealed roll packaging. This specialized insulation material provides superior protection for goods during maritime transport.
Construction & Materials
Outer Layer: Aluminized PET Film - Provides exceptional mechanical strength, abrasion resistance, and rigidity. The aluminized layer delivers superior barrier properties against water vapor, oxygen, and light.
Inner Layer: PE (Polyethylene) Film - Offers excellent flexibility, impact resistance, and heat-sealing capabilities.
Key Advantages
- Superior Moisture and Water Resistance: Effectively prevents "container rain" (condensation) from damaging moisture-sensitive goods during sea transport or temperature variations
- Gas Barrier and Odor Preservation: Prevents external odor intrusion while containing goods' own odors, maintaining quality and original flavor
- Rust and Corrosion Prevention: Forms a physical barrier that completely separates goods from the container's metal interior
- Enhanced Strength and Abrasion Resistance: PET layer provides robust protection against friction and impacts from pallets and containers
- Cleanliness and Hygiene: Smooth, flat surface resists dust accumulation and facilitates easy cleaning and disinfection
- Light Reflection and Heat Insulation: Glossy aluminum surface reflects light and radiant heat, helping maintain stable interior temperatures

Application
This material is typically used in shipping containers in two primary forms:
- Container Lining: PET aluminized composite PE film pre-laminated onto honeycomb panels or corrugated sheets to create standard-sized linings for direct installation on container inner walls
- On-site Adhesive Film: Roll-form PET aluminized composite PE film directly adhered to cleaned container inner walls for greater flexibility
