Key Benefits for Drilling Operations |

Enhanced Drilling Performance A clean drill string means faster tripping times and less mess to manage. The precision-engineered lip of our NBR wiper removes the thickest mud cakes, preventing fluid loss and keeping your tools ready for inspection or storage immediately upon removal. |
Maximum Rig Floor Safety Safety is a priority. By effectively stripping fluids from the pipe, our wipers prevent slippery conditions on the rotary table and rig floor. This drastically reduces the risk of onsite accidents and environmental spills. |
Equipment Longevity By keeping abrasive drilling solids and corrosive fluids away from the master bushing and sensitive rig components, our NBR wipers reduce the overall maintenance frequency of your surface equipment. |
FAQ
Q1: Why should I choose NBR over Natural Rubber for my pipe wipers?
A: While Natural Rubber is excellent for water-based fluids, it fails quickly when in contact with oil. NBR (Nitrile) is essential if you are using oil-based muds (OBM) or if the well contains hydrocarbons, as it prevents the wiper from swelling and losing its sealing shape.
Q2: Can these NBR wipers withstand high-temperature drilling?
A: Our standard NBR wipers are rated up to 120°C (248°F). For HPHT (High Pressure High Temperature) wells, please contact us for our HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) options, which can handle even higher thermal loads and H2S exposure.
