Optimized Fluid Lifting with 2 1/2" SV Type Swab Cups
The 2 1/2 inch SV Type Swab Cup is a professional-grade downhole tool engineered specifically for efficient fluid recovery in wells containing high concentrations of sand, scale, or suspended solids. The SV design features a series of flexible lips that react dynamically to hydrostatic pressure. This flexible profile allows the cup to navigate through debris-laden fluids without compromising the seal or damaging the cup integrity.

Other Available types of Swab cups:
TA style: TA is a medium load Swab Cup built around a steel or aluminum bushing for use in most sizes of tubing or drill pipe. When under load, it will compress to form a solid rubber mass for maximum lifting capacity and minimum wear. Manufactured from a newly developed rubber compound, these cups provide our customers with a high quality North American product. Our special Frac Fluid compound is developed for the ultimate in durability and performance. These Frac Swab Cups are designed to perform under the toughest conditions.
MV style: Shanghai Qinuo offers the popular Guiberson* profile MV Swab Cup in both nitrile and frac fluid rubber compound. The cup has either an aluminum or steel bushing with multiple upturned lips which allows it to pass through tight spots and control the amount of load. It is very efficient in fluid with suspended sand.
V style: Shanghai Qinuo carries the V Series Swab Cup in a light duty and heavy duty all rubber cup that is suited for use in fluids with high concentrations of suspended sand. The upturned lips pass easily through tight spots and will invert to dump excessive loads. The number of cups used will vary with conditions.

1. Optimized for Sand-Laden Fluids: The SV style is the industry standard for wells with high particulate content. Its flexible lip structure can bypass sand and solids during the downward trip and maintain a consistent seal during the lift.
2. Fluid-Actuated Lip Flexibility: The sleeve valve design allows the lips to expand and contract based on the weight of the fluid column. This adaptability ensures a positive seal against the tubing wall even in aging or slightly pitted tubing strings.
3. Universal Mandrel Compatibility: Specifically designed to integrate seamlessly with standard 2 1/2 inch swab mandrels, ensuring easy installation and secure seating during high-velocity runs.
4. High Abrasion Resistance: Manufactured from advanced elastomeric compounds, the SV cup is built to withstand the friction of long-distance travel within the wellbore, significantly extending tool life.
5. Reduced Fluid Bypass: The multi-lip geometry maximizes the seal contact area, ensuring that more fluid reaches the surface per stroke compared to single-lip designs in abrasive conditions.
Question: Why is the SV style preferred for sand-laden fluids over the V style?
Answer: The SV style features a sleeve-valve architecture that is more resilient to the cutting action of sand. Its flexible lips can deflect around particulates better than the rigid lips of standard cups.
Question: Can I use this 2 1/2 inch SV cup on any standard mandrel?
Answer: Yes, our 2.5 inch SV cups are designed to fit standard oilfield swab mandrels used in 2-1/2 inch nominal tubing.
Question: How do I know if I need the HNBR material option?
Answer: If your well temperature exceeds 250 degrees Fahrenheit or if there is a significant presence of H2S gas, the HNBR option is the professional recommendation for safety and longevity.
