Product Overview

TMTeck Digital Barcol Hardness Tester is a portable indentation hardness tester developed based on Barcol impressor technology, designed for testing the hardness of aluminum alloys, fiber reinforced plastics, and rigid plastics.

Standards Compliance

Complies with standards JJG610-2013 and ASTM B648-10(2015).

Operating Principle

The digital Barcol hardness tester applies a specific shape steel indentor to press into workpiece surfaces through test force generated by a load spring. When the supporting foot contacts the workpiece surface, the instrument measures the extension length of the indentor.

Applications

Designed for testing hardness of aluminum, aluminum alloys, fiber reinforced plastics, and rigid plastics. Features a wide valid testing range equivalent to Brinell hardness 25-150HBW.
