Product Background
Industry development drive: Global agricultural production is facing issues such as labor shortage and the need for improved production efficiency. The development of drone technology has provided an opportunity for agricultural transformation. In the 1980s, the United States and Japan began to use agricultural spraying drones for aerial spraying operations. China began the industrial exploration of agricultural spraying drones in 2007, and the No. 1 Central Document in 2014 clearly required "strengthening agricultural aviation construction". Subsequent policies have promoted the rapid development of the agricultural spraying drone industry, prompting enterprises to develop different payload agricultural spraying drones. The 50L agricultural spraying drone emerged under such circumstances.
Technological progress support: The continuous advancement of technologies such as the power system and flight control system of agricultural spraying drones has laid the foundation for the development of 50L agricultural spraying drones. For example, fuel-powered technology enables the drones to carry heavier loads and have longer flight times, allowing for the installation of larger-capacity pesticide tanks. At the same time, the application of GPS global positioning systems and advanced flight control systems enables large-load drones to achieve functions such as automatic takeoff and landing and automatic route planning, ensuring the accuracy and stability of operations.
Enterprise R&D Promotion: To meet the market demand for large-load, high-efficiency agricultural spraying drones, many enterprises have actively engaged in research and development. For instance, Henan Sanhe Aviation Industry Co., Ltd. independently developed the S50 "Little Whirlwind" agricultural spraying drone. This model adopts a "single-engine, oil-driven, horizontally arranged dual rotors" layout, with an effective load capacity of 50 liters for the medicine box, an effective spraying width exceeding 10 meters, and can provide a more favorable wind field for aerial spraying operations, solving the problems of small load capacity, low efficiency, and high cost of agricultural spraying drones. DJI Agriculture also launched the T70 agricultural unmanned aircraft, with a spraying load capacity of 50 kilograms and a sowing load capacity of 70 kilograms. It can also be equipped with a 70-liter medicine box and can meet various operation scenarios such as spraying, sowing, and lifting.
