CNG(Natural Gas Exhaust Catalyst)

A natural gas vehicle (NGV) is an alternative fuel vehicle that uses compressed natural gas (CNG), liquefied natural gas (LNG) or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) as a cleaner alternative to other fossil fuels.

In order to meet the CNG, LNG, LPG and other alternative fuel engine emission control, we have developed many catalysts in different applications, using ceramic or iron-chromium-aluminum alloy honeycomb as the carrier. This structure helps to convert the CH4 in exhaust gas with lower ignition temperature and higher conversion rate. It is widely used in large, medium and light vehicles loaded with CNG engines, achieving Euro IV, Euro V emission standards, obtaining excellent activity and durability.

Carrier: Ceramic honeycomb substrate (cordierite monolith) or metal honeycomb substrate (stainless steel crust and Fe-Cr-Al honeycomb body)
Honeycomb cell density: 100, 200, 300, 400 or 600 CPSI and more
Shape: round, oval, racetrack or other special
Catalytic supporter: Rare-earth oxygen-storage material
Catalytic promoter: CeO2, ZrO2, La2O3 and so on
Active components: Pt, Pd, Rh and so on

CNG catalyst can efficiently convert harmful hydrocarbons (HC, mainly CH4), carbon monoxide (CO) and nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the exhaust gas of natural gas vehicles into harmless water (H2O), carbon dioxide (CO2) and nitrogen (N2) through oxidation-reduction reactions.

With nearly 20 years of technology accumulation, we can provide customers with rich customized solutions. CNG catalyst can meet Euro-VI and China-VI regulations. CNG catalyst has been mass produced and successfully applied on more than 50 different domestic and foreign engine projects meeting China-VI emission standard.
