Production Description:
The Composite Alloy Rods are made of tungsten carbide grits and Cu or Ni, using together with a large oxy-acetylene torch, sometimes the carbide powder can be used as the tips. Tungsten carbide crushed grits is the most economic choice in normal application, if you need high durability, a carbide insert would be more suitable.
The hardness is 89-01 HRA. The binder metal is Cu or Ni alloy, with a strength up to 690 MPA, hardness, HB higher than 160. Most of the composite brazing rods are made of crushing sintered tungsten carbide particles and bonded with a bronze nickel matrix with a low melting point (870 °C).
