Ultra-High Precision Tungsten Carbide Valve Core
Product Overview
In critical industrial fluid control applications, the wear resistance and sealing performance of valve cores directly determine system lifespan and reliability. This product is manufactured from primary ultra-fine grain tungsten carbide and features a Ra0.2 μm (mirror-grade) surface finish achieved through advanced grinding and polishing processes.
This exceptional surface finish significantly reduces friction coefficient during valve core movement while effectively preventing particle adhesion from media, enhancing corrosion resistance and anti-erosion capabilities. Widely used in high-parameter valves across industries including petrochemicals, coal chemicals, high-pressure water jetting, hydrogen energy equipment, and deep-sea oil extraction.
Key Features
- Premium Material: Manufactured from YG series (YG6/YG8) or sub-micron/nano tungsten carbide with hardness of HRA 89-93, offering high compressive strength and impact toughness.
- Mirror Finish (Ra0.2): Achieved through fine grinding, lapping, and mirror polishing processes, ensuring consistent surface roughness at Ra 0.2μm. This mirror-like finish promotes effective "micro-seal" oil film formation, minimizing internal leakage.
- Superior Wear Resistance: Tungsten carbide's wear resistance is dozens of times higher than standard stainless steel (316L), making it ideal for high differential pressure, high sand content, or particulate media applications.
- High Temperature & Pressure Resistance: Maintains high red hardness at elevated temperatures, suitable for frequent start-stop cycles in high-pressure environments.
