Product description
The intelligent gas waist wheel (Roots) flow meter is a new generation of flow meter that integrates the detection functions of flow, temperature and pressure, and can automatically compensate for temperature and pressure. Gas is a compressible fluid, and its volume value is closely related to temperature and pressure.
Working principle
Intelligent gas waist wheel (Roots) flowmeter is mainly composed of shell, conjugate rotor, counter and intelligent flow totalizer and other components. A pair of conjugate rotors installed in the metering chamber keep the correct relative position of the rotors through precision-machined adjustment gears under the action of the inlet and outlet pressure difference (P in > P out) of the circulating gas.

High Accuracy & Repeatability
Adopts precision-engineered rotary lobes to achieve ±1.0% measurement accuracy with excellent repeatability, ensuring reliable gas flow data for industrial billing and process control.


Wide Turndown Ratio
Offers a wide turndown ratio (typically 20:1 or higher), enabling accurate measurement across low to high flow rates—ideal for gas flows with significant load variations.


Durable & Corrosion-Resistant
Constructed with high-strength stainless steel or cast iron body, resistant to corrosive gases such as biogas, LPG, and natural gas. Features wear-resistant rotor coating for extended service life.


Flexible Output Options
Supports pulse, 4-20mA, RS485 Modbus, and LCD display. Easily integrates with PLC, SCADA, or remote monitoring systems for industrial automation.


Low Pressure Drop
Optimized rotor design minimizes pressure loss across the meter, reducing energy consumption of downstream blowers or compressors—perfect for low-pressure gas networks.
