Industrial Differential Pressure Transmitter Compatible with Gases Liquids and Oils Featuring Robust Construction and Performance

Product description

The Model 2088 pressure transmitter consists of a piezoresistive sensor and a signal conversion module. The core component of the sensor is a single crystal silicon wafer. When pressure is applied to the single crystal silicon wafer, its resistivity changes. Four resistors are diffused onto the silicon wafer using semiconductor planar processing technology and connected to form a Wheatstone bridge. Under a constant current supply, it can output a voltage signal proportional to the pressure signal. The signal conversion module processes the voltage signal from the sensor and converts it into standard signals such as 4–20mA, 0–5V, 0–10V, 1–5V, and 1–10V. It is widely used in process control and pressure/liquid level measurement across various industries including petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, water conservancy, electric power, food, pharmaceuticals, and environmental control.
