Product Introduction
The Magnetic Level Gauge (also known as Magnetic Flap Level Indicator) is a reliable, direct-reading liquid level measuring device widely used for tanks and vessels. It operates on the principle of magnetic coupling between a float with internal magnets and external bi-colored flaps. As the float rises or falls with the liquid level, the flaps flip from white to red (or silver to blue), providing a clear, instantaneous visual indication without any power supply.
This level gauge is suitable for a variety of media including water, oil, diesel, fuel, chemicals, acids, and alkalis. It can withstand high-temperature conditions up to 350°C and high pressure up to 4.0MPa (40 bar). The main body is made of stainless steel SS304 or SS316, with PTFE lining available for strong corrosive liquids.
For remote monitoring, optional 4-20mA transmitters, HART protocol, reed switches, or limit alarms can be integrated. Explosion-proof versions (Ex db IIC T6, ATEX/IECEx) are available for hazardous areas. Installation is simple via flange or threaded connections, side-mounted or top-mounted. With high accuracy (±10mm), low maintenance, and customizable ranges, the magnetic level gauge is an ideal solution for chemical plants, oil depots, boiler drums, water treatment, and storage tank farms.
