YUHONG ASME-certified Tower OVHD Trim Condenser is a critical heat exchange equipment designed for crude oil distillation units, engineered to ensure efficient heat recovery and operational reliability under stringent industrial conditions.
Design & Configuration
The condenser adopts an AES-HORZ (Horizontal Fixed Tube Sheet) design, optimized for thermal efficiency and structural stability. Key dimensional parameters include:

Nominal Size: ∅1100 (Inner Diameter) × 4500 mm (Length).

Tube Details: 1092 tubes with a size of ∅20×1.8 mm, arranged in a 45° tube pattern with a pitch of 26 mm. The tube bundle length is 4500 mm, and the total heat transfer surface area reaches 308.0 m².

Flow Arrangement: 1 shell pass and 6 tube passes, paired with SEGM vertical-cut baffles (220 mm spacing, 17 pcs)
Material Selection & Corrosion Protection

Shell/Heads/Nozzles/Baffles/Tubesheet/Flanges: SA 516 Gr.70 + 2mm cladded with SB 127 (for shell, heads, nozzles, baffles, tubesheet) and SA 105 (tube-side flanges) / SA 106 (shell-side nozzles) – all with 2mm SB 127 cladding.
