Storage
Since WANNATE 8122 is a reactive chemical, it readily reacts with atmospheric moisture. This reaction forms insoluble ureas and carbon dioxide gas, which can lead to pressure buildup in closed containers and an increase in product viscosity. Therefore, containers must be completely dry and carefully sealed after being filled with nitrogen.
Store WANNATE 8122 containers indoors in a well-ventilated area at ambient temperatures (15-25°C), keeping them properly closed. Avoid storage below 10°C, as this may cause crystallization; the material must be protected from frost. If crystallization does occur, heat the material to 70-80°C to melt it. It's crucial to avoid localized overheating during this process. After melting, the product should be thoroughly agitated before use.
Shelf Life
WANNATE 8122 has a nine-month shelf life when stored under recommended conditions. Should the product's shelf life be exceeded, its functional properties may nonetheless remain unaffected, provided its primary physical and chemical characteristics conform to specifications.
