Polyurethane Footwear Catalyst CAT-588 Equivalent To DABCO 1027
Product Overview

Lucac CAT-588 is a delayed-action, fast-curing amine catalyst specially developed for polyurethane footwear applications. It provides extended cream time, improved mould flowability and rapid demoulding performance, helping enhance production efficiency. CAT-588 may also improve selected physical properties of polyurethane foams, including tensile strength and tear strength.

Application and Processing

CAT-588 is recommended for polyurethane footwear applications. It has been evaluated against commonly used catalysts in typical polyester-based footwear formulations using low-pressure moulding machines.
