Available across a broad spectrum of standard operating wavelengths up to 1550 nm, with various coating designs, PANDA PM Specialty Fibers are optimized for high-performance polarization retaining applications. This field-proven fiber supports growing applications and maintains performance across wide temperature ranges.

The PANDA PM Specialty Optical Fiber design incorporates two stress applying parts to create extremely high birefringence, resulting in fiber with outstanding polarization maintaining properties. This innovative design was invented and patented by Corning Incorporated, with Corning maintaining a manufacturing partnership with Fujikura Ltd.
