PM Isolator & WDM Hybrid – Integrated Isolator + WDM Coupler, 1480/1550nm & 980/1550nm
Product Overview

The PM Isolator & WDM Hybrid integrates an optical isolator and a WDM optical coupler into one compact package. This integrated design is especially useful for doped optical fiber amplifier designs and related applications.

Two WDM coupler types are available: 1480nm/1550nm and 980nm/1550nm. The 1550nm signal first passes through the isolator and is then combined with the pump laser power at the WDM coupler. The previous stage of the optical circuit is protected by the optical isolation.

Single-stage and dual-stage isolation are available. This product reduces overall cost and simplifies system structure while providing improved performance and reliability.
