While maintaining the pure PU elastic layer (no rubber granules), this version uses a harder‑wearing top formulation with 22% rubber content EPDM and an optional 4mm top layer (instead of standard 3mm). The result is a surface that resists abrasion from spikes, running shoes, and even light maintenance equipment. After 15 years of normal use, the track remains fully functional with only cosmetic wear.
