DC Electric Arc Furnace for Electroplating Sludge Smelting
The 5000kVA DC electric arc furnace is specially designed for the smelting treatment of electroplating sludge, a typical hazardous solid waste generated by electroplating and metal surface treatment plants. Using a stable DC arc as the heat source, the furnace melts the sludge at 1500-1600°C, recovering valuable heavy metals such as nickel, copper, chromium and zinc, while converting the remaining residue into inert vitrified slag that can be safely disposed of or reused in building materials.
