Product description

  1. Insulator is a special insulation control, which can play an important role in overhead transmission line.
  2. Insulators are made of tempered glass. The surface of glass insulator is of high mechanical strength, which makes it difficult to crack the surface. The electrical strength of glass remains constant throughout operation and the aging process is much slower than porcelain.
  3. Glass insulators can be canceled during the operation of the insulator to conduct periodic preventive tests. Because every damage to toughened glass causes insulator damage, it is easy for operators to find it during line inspection. When the insulator is damaged, the pieces of glass near the steel cap and iron foot are jammed, and the mechanical strength of the remaining part of the insulator is sufficient to prevent the insulator string from breaking off. The sloping ratio of glass insulators is one of the important indexes to measure the quality of products, and also the quality basis for the bid evaluation of current transmission projects.
