Stable Drum Cradle Avoiding Tension Surges During Unwinding


Product Overview

Before the first meter of cable leaves a drum, the drum itself has to be tamed: on uneven ground a heavy spool can tip over, break loose and roll across the site, or feed line in rough surges that scar the conductor surface. The SIL/SIK stand plants the spool on a steel rack with a free-turning shaft; line then leaves the drum smoothly and evenly, with no kinks or snags. Users can raise or lower the rack from 450mm up to 1300mm to fit spool width and working height. The all-steel frame refuses to bend under rated load, and because the legs fold and assembly needs no tools, the stand can be packed up and shifted to the next site in minutes.
